The guidons for ACOMs are national flag blue and ARNG Elements of Joint Force Headquarters
are dark blue. The guidons for other commands will be in the primary color of their
branch orientation or if non-branch oriented will be national flag blue or teal
blue. The applicable shoulder sleeve insignia in proper color, 8 1/2 inches high,
is centered on the guidon.

Major Subordinate Commands of ACOMs, ASCCs and DRUs and Troop Commands
The guidons for MSCs of ACOMs and non-branch oriented commands are national flag
blue and dark blue for Troop Commands. The guidons for other commands will be in
the primary color of their branch orientation. The guidon contains a 5 inch vertical
center stripe which is yellow for MSCs of ACOMs, Troop Commands and non-branch oriented
commands and the secondary branch color for branch oriented commands. The shoulder
sleeve insignia of the ACOM, ASCC, DRU or ARNG Element of Joint Force Headquarters,
in proper colors, 8 1/2 inches high, is centered on the stripe.

The guidon is the primary branch color on which is centered the approved shoulder
sleeve insignia in proper colors, 8 1/2 inches high.

Numbered Regional Support Commands
The guidon is national flag blue with the applicable shoulder sleeve insignia centered
in proper colors 8 1/2 inches high.

Armies (Numbered and Geographical)
The guidon has two horizontal stripes of equal width with white above red. In the
center is the shoulder sleeve insignia of the applicable Army in proper colors,
8 1/2 inches high.

Corps
The guidon has two horizontal stripes of equal width with blue above white. In the
center is the shoulder sleeve insignia of the applicable corps, in proper colors,
8 1/2 inches high or wide.

Corps Artillery
The guidon has a red background with two horizontal yellow stripes, each 2 1/4 inches
wide. In the center is the shoulder sleeve insignia of the applicable corps in proper
colors, 8 1/2 inches high.

Divisions and Divisions (Training)
The guidon consists of two horizontal stripes of equal width. In the center is the
shoulder sleeve insignia of the applicable division in proper colors 8 1/2 inches
high. The upper stripe is red for all divisions. The lower stripe for armored and
cavalry divisions is yellow. The lower stripe for infantry, airborne, and training
divisions is national flag blue.

Division Artillery
The guidon has a red background on which is centered a horizontal yellow stripe
5 1/2 inches wide. In the center is the shoulder sleeve insignia of the applicable
division in proper colors 8 1/2 inches high.

Numbered Brigades of Divisions
The guidon has two vertical stripes of equal width with the shoulder sleeve insignia
of the applicable division in proper colors, 5 1/2 inches high, above the number
of the brigade in Arabic numerals 3 1/2 inches high, both centered on the guidon.
The first stripe for all brigades is red. The second stripe of armored and cavalry
division brigades is yellow. The second stripe of airborne, infantry and training
division brigades is national flag blue. Numerals on armored and cavalry division
brigades are green. Numerals on airborne, infantry and training division brigades

for all brigades is red. The second stripe of armored and cavalry division brigades
is yellow. The second stripe of airborne, infantry and training division brigades
is national flag blue. Letters on armored and cavalry division brigades are green.
Letters on airborne, infantry and training division brigades are white.

Maneuver Area Command
The guidon is teal blue with a yellow triangle pointed up from the base. The applicable
shoulder sleeve insignia is centered, in proper colors, 7 1/2 inches high.

Maneuver Area Training Command
The guidon is teal blue with a yellow triangle pointed up from the base. The numerical
designation of the command is centered in teal blue Arabic numbers, 3 1/2 inches
high.

|
Military Police Prisoner of War Camp
The guidon is green with a yellow horizontal stripe 5 1/2 inches wide. The Military
Police Corps insignia 4 1/2 inches high, in green, is centered on the yellow stripe.
In the upper fly end is the prisoner of war camp number in yellow Arabic numerals
3 1/2 inches high.

TOE Numbered Field Depots
The guidon is national flag blue with a red chevron originating at the lower hoist
and fly ends, 5 1/2 inches wide, edged top and bottom with a white border 1 inch
wide. The number of the depot in white Arabic numerals, 3 1/2 inches high, is centered
on the chevron. For TDA depots, a white monogram is centered on the chevron.

Groups
The guidon is a solid color in the primary branch color with a diagonal stripe in
the secondary branch color 6 1/2 inches wide extending from upper hoist to lower
fly. Centered on the stripe is the group’s number in Arabic numerals 3 1/2 inches
high in the primary branch color. For named groups (TDA), a monogram is used in
lieu of a number. This design does not apply to Special Forces Group.

Field Operating Agencies
The guidon is a solid color with a triangle starting from the top and bottom edge
of the hoist. The apex terminates in the horizontal center of the guidon’s fly.
The shoulder sleeve insignia is centered on the triangle 5 inches from the hoist
in proper colors, 7 1/2 inches high. For agencies not oriented to branch, the guidon
base is teal blue and the triangle is yellow. For agencies oriented to branch, the
guidon base is the primary branch color and the triangle is in the secondary branch
color.

Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion of a Division, Corps or Army
The guidon has two horizontal stripes of equal width with the shoulder sleeve insignia
of the applicable division, corps or army in proper colors 5 1/2 inches high, above
the applicable company abbreviation 3 1/2 inches high, both centered on the guidon.
The first stripe for Divisions is scarlet, blue for Corps and white for Armies.
The second stripe of infantry and airborne divisions is blue, for cavalry and armored
divisions is yellow, for corps is white and for armies is scarlet. The company abbreviation
will be in the color of the first stripe.

HQ Company of Division Support Battalion
Headquarters Company will have a buff colored guidon with “HQ” centered below and
the Battalion number centered above. The letters and numbers will be scarlet.

Support Battalion of a Division
Lettered Companies of battalion guidons will have guidons with branch oriented colors
and the battalion number above and the company letter below the branch insignia.

TOE Companies, Batteries, Troops and Detachments of Regiments and Separate Battalions
The guidons for units of regiments and separate fixed battalions (including companies
of battalions of Special Forces units) will be the same color as the organizational
color with the applicable branch insignia centered between the regiment or battalion
number above and HQ or company letter below the insignia. The letters and numbers
are 3 1/2 inches high. The numbers and letters will be the secondary branch color.

Batteries of Cavalry Regiment
The guidons will be red over white with the regiment number above and HQ or battery
letter below. The letters and numbers are 3 1/2 inches high. The regiment number is
white and HQ or battery letter is red.

TOE Companies of Battalions Without Branch Insignia
The guidons will be the same color as the organizational color with the battalion
number above and HQ or company letter below the insignia. The letters and numbers
are 3 1/2 inches high. The numbers and letters will be the secondary branch color.

TOE Companies of Battalions of Regiments
The guidons will be the same color as the organizational color with the applicable
branch insignia centered between the regiment number above and HQ or company letter
below the insignia. The battalion number is on the horizontal center line midway
between the heading and the branch insignia. The battalion numerals are 2 5/8 inches
high. Letters and numbers will be in the secondary branch color.

The guidons are the applicable branch colors. The branch insignia is centered with
nothing above or below the insignia.

bordered in yellow centered thereon.

The guidon is maroon with a white bordered maroon canton bearing the insignia of
branch for medical corps in white detailed silver gray. The unit designation will
be below the canton in white letters.

The guidon is diagonally divided from upper hoist to lower fly in maroon and white
with maroon above. On the white portion are the letters “HC” in maroon. On the maroon
portion is the number of the center in white Arabic numerals.

Numbered Medical Laboratories/Numbered Medical Materiel Centers
The guidon is white with a maroon triangle starting at the bottom edge of the guidon
with the apex near the vertical center. The branch insignia is centered thereon.
In the upper fly end is the numeric designation in maroon.

The guidon is maroon with the medical branch insignia centered thereon. This pattern
