Shoulder Loop Insignia
A Gold color metal and enamel shield shaped device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in width overall, charged with two green islands, the right of two palm trees, with a red Devil Ray leaping from the blue water, its tail between the palms, all surrounding a sun rise. Attached and running throughout a red scroll inscribed “STRIVE FOR SUCCESS” in base metal letters.
Maroon and gold are the school’s colors. The red Devil Ray is the school’s mascot.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 8 September 2005.
Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A silver gray rectangular shaped embroidered device arched convexly at the top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, charged with a yellow torch under a maroon Devil Ray. Attached above, a yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border inscribed “IEKHS” in maroon letters. Attached below, a yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border inscribed “MIGHTY RAYS” in maroon letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.
