Description
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Or on a bend Vert between in chief a tilting helmet and in base a spur-rowel Sable a cavalry sword of the first. Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Green scroll turned Gold inscribed “YIELD TO US” in Gold letters.
Symbolism
Yellow and green are the colors used for Armor. The color green also has a canting reference to Washington, known as the “Evergreen State,” and home area of the organization. The helmet, cavalry sword and spur-rowel are symbolic of the long history and tradition of Armor.
