Description

On a disc Sable, a globe Celeste, gridlined Argent, charged with a key bend sinister wise ward up and out Or, overall an arrow encircling the globe terminating in dexter chief as a delta Gules, all within a narrow border Blue.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed “439TH SUPPLY CHAIN OPS SQ” in Blue letters.



Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors.  Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations.  Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel.  The globe refers to the world-wide support provided by the unit for mission success.  The arrow encircling the globe symbolizes the unit’s continuous support to ensuring mission readiness, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  The symbolic Air Force key represents the integral part the unit plays in the Supply Chain Operations aspect of material management.
