Description

On a disc Celeste, in front of and above a globe issuant from base Azure, gridlined and edged Argent, an American bald eagle stooping proper, within three mullets arced in chief Or, all within a narrow border Black.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed  "442D LOGISTICS SUPPORT SQ" in Black letters.



Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors.  Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations.  Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel.  The eagle represents the Air Force’s flight mission, and the sphere alludes to the global scope of logistics support.  The three yellow stars symbolize the goals and achievements of the unit.
