On a disc Azure, a stylized soaring aircraft delta in honor point Argent leaving a contrail of the second split Gules, charged with a representation of a castle embattled per fess of the second with a demi-globe in base Vert, all within a narrow border Yellow.
Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “DEFENDERS OF THE GATEWAY” in Yellow letters.
Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “435TH SECURITY FORCES SQ” in Yellow letters.
Symbolism
Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The stylized aircraft represents the assets faithfully secured by unit personnel. The contrail symbolizes the strength and purity of Air Force values. The castle gate over the field signifies the capability to protect and defend the community.
