Description

On a disc Celeste, a triangle Azure fimbriated Or and Gules bearing a torch Argent (Silver Gray) enflamed of the third, all within a narrow border Blue.

Attached above the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed “EXPECT THE BEST” in Blue letters.

Attached below the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed “423D SERVICES SQ” in Blue letters.

Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors.  Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations.  Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel.  The triangle depicts strength and the Squadron’s ability to coordinate changing needs.  The torch represents excellence and captures the attributes of vigilance, spirit, and camaraderie that are at the center of the service’s mission.
