On a vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, divided in quarters alternating oriental blue (Columbia blue) and flag blue (navy blue) displaying cropped and in profile an oriental blue (Columbia blue) stylized jaguar head, detailed flag blue (navy blue), teeth white, eye white, ear detailed white and fimbriated white. Attached above the rectangle, a flag blue (navy blue) scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border inscribed “JOHNSON” in white letters. Attached below the rectangle, a flag blue (navy blue) scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) inscribed “JAGUARS” in white letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.
Columbia blue, navy blue and silver are the school colors. The two shades of blue represent loyalty, a trait the cadets have in their allegiance to one another and their country. Silver (white) denotes perfection; something in which the cadets endeavor to uphold every day. The jaguar (the school’s mascot) signifies courage, swiftness and power.
