On a silver color metal and enameled device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of four (4) vertically divided pine trees, green and blue, two and two, issuing from below a black tree trunk in the center, all behind a vertically divided Bear, green and blue, its face detailed silver gray, facing the viewer, with white claws extended parted palewise, all above a blue scroll inscribed “BRUINS” in silver letters.
Blue and Kelly green are the school colors. Blue is symbolic of the courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while green signifies the determination to succeed in all endeavors. The Bear is the school’s mascot which reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadets’ military training. The stand of trees recalls the name of the school.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 27 August 2013.
