Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, propeller blades in saltire Argent, tipped Or, fimbriated Sable, each charged with a lightning bolt of the third, fimbriated of the fourth, overall a mullet Gules, all within a narrow Black border.

Attached below the disc, a Red scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "526TH INTELLIGENCE SQ" in Black letters.

Attached above the disc, a Red scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. A propeller divides the emblem into four quadrants. The propeller symbolized the Squadron's World War Two heritage. The lightning bolts onthe propeller blades represent the unit's commitment to providing the full spectrum of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Integration at the "speed of war." The star signifies the Squadron's expertise in adversary tactics analysis. The unit motto is "Forewarned Is Forearmed.
