Navy blue and teal are the school colors. Navy blue alludes to devotion, a virtue the cadets show in their loyalty to the country as well as to each other. Teal (Peacock blue) signifies sincerity, a trait the cadets reflect in following through in all of their goals and accomplishments. The jaguar is the school's mascot and conveys fierceness and conquering in the face of adversity. The students identify with their mascot in their pursuit of academic as well as athletic achievements. The two pallets and the bendlet imply the letter "N" for the school name "Northampton County High School." The battalion motto is "Jaguar Pride."
