Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a Royal Blue vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Red border blazoned: A saltire Gules charged with two sabers crossed in saltire Argent garnished Azure surmounted by a hurte fimbriated Tenné bearing a mullet of the same edged of the second, in between the saltire four mullets of the fourth. Attached above the rectangle, a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Red border inscribed "TOLSIA" in Orange letters. Attached below the rectangle, a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Red border inscribed "REBELS" in Orange letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Blue symbolizes the cadets' devotion, justice, and loyalty. Orange represents pride and strength;, these are the school colors. The crossed sabers on the red saltire allude to the rich Civil War history of the area. The orange star edged white upon the blue ellipse edge orange represents the combined schools of Fort Gay and Crum High Schools. The four orange stars on the blue field signify two battles, Bloss Hill and Lick Creek plus two camps, Pierpont and Cove Gap in the local area.

Description/Blazon
On a gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a Blue star superimposed by two gold crossed sabers hilts up below a civil war Gray Keppe hat, visor Black, the ban and top of hat Orange, charged with two crossed sabers hilts down, attached below a Blue scroll inscribed "TOLSIA HIGH SCHOOL" in gold letters.

Symbolism

The orange banded silver Keppe Hat represents the combined schools of Fort Gay and Crum High Schools. The crossed sabers charged upon the hat field signify two battles, Bloss Hill and Lick Creek.
