Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield with a wavy top blazoned: Vert, a shepherd's crook and sword in saltire Or. Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Gold tripartite scroll inscribed "HONOR VIGILANCE JUSTICE" in Black letters.

Symbolism
Green and yellow are the colors for the Military Police Corps. The shepherd's crook, adapted from the arms of several cities of the Rhine Province, alludes to World War II service in that area, and is also symbolic of solicitous leadership and guidance. The sword indicates the military character of such leadership.

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 13 September 1955.
