On a shield shaped embroidered device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border blazoned as follows: Azure, on a bend cotticed Gules, the head and neck of a patriot in train aspect Argent, hat and details of the first. Attached above the shield, a Red scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border inscribed "'PAULDING" in White letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.
Red and blue are the school colors. Red represents the valor, strength and patriotism of the cadets. Blue signifies the loyalty and devotion that the cadets show for their school and country. White symbolizes the courage to act responsibly and possess uncompromising integrity. The school's mascot is the Patriot and is indicative of courage, zeal and liberty. The diagonal bar with two smaller bars on either side denotes defense and protection.
