Description/Blazon

Azure, from a pale Or, tierced, arched and turned Tenné, three points one in dexter bendwise sinister, one in pale per pale and one in sinister bendwise, points down Sable, fesswise in nombril five flight symbols palewise conjoined Argent, surmounting the center flight symbol a bomb of the fourth flamant Gules and of the third and charged with a nuclear symbol of the second, all within a diminished bordure Yellow.

Attached below the shield, a White scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "798TH MUNITIONS MAINTENANCE GROUP" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The three reentry vehicles, five flight symbols, ammo bomb and nuclear symbol reflect the Group's mission to provide ready nuclear weaponry and support select Force Development Evaluation functions when and where needed.
