Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The four stars represent space, airborne, terrestrial and cyber space domains that define the diverse battlefield of the 21st Century. The bat's ray represents the integration of critical command, control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C2ISR) capabilities. In addition, the bat's perspective overlooking the integrated battlefield emphasizes the key role intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities play in the mission of the unit. The battlement and globe represent the commitment to field and sustain fully interoperable Air Force and Joint systems for world-wide combat operations and support.
