Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The saber cat, which always protects its pack, represents the ferocity demonstrated by operational, maintenance and logistical subject matter experts when providing support to the Control and Reporting Center mission anytime, anywhere. The black and white disc is reminiscent of a compass rose and signifies the operational emphasis on protecting the freedoms of the world. The lightning bolts represent the dedicated maintenance and logistical focus on the communication and electronic systems which facilitate the Control and Reporting Center's mission. The emblem in its entirety represents the unit's ability to respond to and manage changing command and control requirements in the global environment. The motto of the unit is "FIERCELY VIGILANT."
