Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure throughout, a globe of the field gridlined and fimbriated Sable overall issuant from base an Ionic column Argent, fluted and shaded Silver Gray, overlapping shadows of the second, upon the column a sword erect of the third, grip Brown, guard and pommel Or, the pommel charged with a compass rose Silver Gray, garnished Black, the haft between two wings elevated of the last, all within a narrow border Silver Gray.

Attached below the disc, an Ultramarine Blue scroll edged with a narrow Silver Gray border and inscribed "720TH OPERATIONS SUPPORT SQ" in Silver Gray letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The gridlined globe denotes the world wide commitment of the Squadron. The winged sword represents the excellence expected of all Air Force members. The compass rose symbolizes the battlefield Airmen whose operational capabilities are enabled by the Squadron. The pillar supporting the sword represents the Squadron itself.
