Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Orange border blazoned as follows: Azure (Dark Blue) a bend Argent (White) overall a mullet of the last charged with a mullet Tenné. Attached above the shield, a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Orange border inscribed "RIVERSIDE" in Blue. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are navy blue, Texas orange, and white. The school's mascot is the Rangers, which is represented by the five pointed star. The color orange represents the student's pride in their school and home state. White is emblematic of the virtues of humanity, beauty, purity, clarity, and innocence, all of which are characteristics of strong cadets. Black symbolizes the determination and might displayed by the students in their academic and athletic accomplishments.

A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 inch (2.54 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure (Dark Blue) a bend Argent (Silver Gray) overall a mullet Tenné. Attached above the shield, a White scroll inscribed "RIVERSIDE" in Silver letters.
