Description/Blazon

Azure, below in chief three compass roses fesswise Or, a terrestrial globe Celeste, landmasses Vert, encircled by a delta flight symbol Gules, contrail from sinister base terminating in dexter chief Argent and environed by an orbital as a polestar of the second, its path of the sixth, all within a diminished bordure of the second.

Attached below the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "SPACE AND MISSILES ANALYSIS GROUP" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The delta and contrails represent the Group's proactive support to the Air Force mission. The star signifies the constant space awareness and its ability to produce intelligence analysis of all terrestrial and extraterrestrial activity. The delta indicates cognizance of missile operations anywhere in the world. The compass rose constellation symbolizes the analytic integration of intelligence from multiple sources in support of the NASIC mission.
