Symbolism
Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The disc represents the software the unit maintains and develops. Discs are the most common and recognizable form of software media used by the unit. The wolf symbolizes the multitude of computer systems the unit maintains. Like wolves, the different flights of the unit have different roles within the Squadron (or the "pack"), but all work together to accomplish the USAF's goal of air superiority through their software development and maintenance duties. The globe alludes to the global impact on the warfighter's mission.
