Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a globe of the field, axis palewise bordered and gridlined Or, encircled by three arrows in bend, issuing contrails from behind the globe's sinister base, barbs to dexter chief Azure over Brown over Celeste. Overall an American bald eagle volant Proper, all within a narrow border Blue.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "509TH LOGISTICS READINESS SQ" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe represents the Squadron's global support. The arrows depict the essential logistics elements forming a coherent plan to sustain the missions by land, air and sea, while supported and enforced by the eagle, the spirit of the American military.
