On a disc as a globe axis bendwise sinister Azure, gridlined Sable, a winged lion passant in tri-quarter perspective in natural colors, wings displayed as the body garnished Argent, with three down legs positioned on a sword fesswise, point to sinister Proper, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow yellow border and inscribed "FREEDOM CARRIES SACRIFICE" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "349TH SECURITY FORCES SQ" in Yellow letters.


Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The lion symbolizes strength and intelligence. The globe represents the global reach of the unit's abilities. The sword indicates security through sacrifice to protect freedom.
