Description/Blazon

On a disc divided per bend enhanced Sable and Argent, charged with a silhouette of a knight with shield and lance issuant from the bend, surmounted by a screwdriver in pale and a wrench in fess Or, overall a flight symbol per pale Azure and Vert, all within a diminished border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "WE MAINTAIN SO OTHERS MAY LIVE" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "347TH AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

U.tramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The background refers to the traditions of the parent wing. The tools signify the mission of the Squadron. The flight symbol is split to indicate the two rescue squadrons whose missions the unit supports.
