Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe represents the global nature of the Squadron's role in the Expeditionary Air Force. The knight's gauntlet clutching a flight symbol and contrail (the Manpower and Personnel symbol depicted on the Air Force Specialty Badge) represents the unit's personnel and manpower role in the strategic missile mission of the 341st Space Wing, as well as the unit's historical ties to the former Strategic Air Command. The unit's motto is "None But The Best."
