Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, in base two hands clasped fesswise throughout Proper. The dexter hand of dark flesh overlaying the sinister hand of light flesh tone. In dexter chief a document Argent lined Sable bendwise overlaid by a quill pen bendwise sinister and in sinister chief a balance Or detailed of the third, all within a diminished border Black.

Attached above the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "314TH CONTRACTING SQ" in Black letters

Attached below the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "YOUR NEEDS OUR GOALS" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The quill and parchment symbolize the unit's primary mission, providing timely and quality support to the host wing. The scales represent compliance with Congressional statutes, equality and fairness in awarding contracts to civilian contractors. The handshake symbolizes the high level of cooperation between Air Force contracting agents and small disadvantaged business contractors.
