Description/Blazon

On a disc per fess wavy Gules and Azure, bearing a double-edged sword palewise, point to base pommel, grip and cross-guard Or, blade Argent and Sable superimposed by a shield bendwise sinister, per fess escartellé of the fourth and Silver Gray, in dexter base a lightning bolt bendwise point to sword tip Black, in sinister base a lightning bolt bendwise sinister point to sword tip White, all within a narrow border Black.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "FACTA NON VERBA" (DEEDS NOT WORDS) in Black letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "7 IWF" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Blue and yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The sword represents the pillars that exist under Offensive Counter-Information. The shield alludes to the pillars that exist under Defensive Counter-Information. The escartellé on the shield symbolizes strategy in battle. The lightning bolts are for the support given to the unit commander.
