Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gray shield on a Black background edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border surmounted by a Black armoured chevalier grasping a Black lance pointing to base in his right hand and a shield blazoned: "Sable a chevron reversed Argent" in his left hand mounted on a White horse in trian aspect caparisoned Black. Surmounting the shield at top an arcing Silver Gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border and inscribed "BLACK KNIGHTS" in Black letters. Surmounting the shield in base an arched Silver Gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border and inscribed "ROBBINSVILLE" in Black letters.

Symbolism
Silver and black are the school colors and signify tradition and values. The black knight is the school symbol and reflects the cadets' defense of those ideals.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 26 February 1998.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent within an orle Sable a knight in armour between two mullets in chief Silver, mounted on a caparisoned horse forcene Sable, grasping in his dexter hand a lance bendwise of the first. Attached below a Silver and Black scroll inscribed "ROBBINSVILLE" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Silver and black are the school colors and signify tradition and values. The black knight is the school symbol and reflects the cadets' defense of those ideals. The two stars represent the cadets' personal achievement in academics and athletics. They also denote pride in state and community.
