Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a yellow vertical oval edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border a yellow demi-Indian grasping in his right hand a tomahawk pendant with feather all yellow outlined and detailed black. Attached below the oval an arched tab edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border and inscribed D'IBERVILLE" in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Yellow and black are the school colors. A Native American Warrior is the school mascot.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height consisting of a Gold background surmounted by a shield blazoned: Quartered Sable and Or; in first quarter an open book of the second, in second a lyre of the first, in third an atomic symbol Black, in fourth a winged foot bendwise sinister Gold ? between mantling Gold turned Black and below a Gold eagle detailed Black volant all above a Black scroll inscribed "ANIMO ETFIDE."

Symbolism
Gold and black are the school colors. The shield contains the elements of education in the symbols of the arts and humanities, science, and athletics. The eagle represents the achievements of the cadets in school, community, and country. The motto translates "FOR STRENGTH OF THE SOUL."
