Maroon and white (silver) are the school colors. The Native American Warrior is the school mascot. The scroll denotes the cadets' academic environment. The scale represents equality and citizenship. The lyre and mask of tragedy suggest education in the arts, and the winged foot symbolizes the athletic participation of the cadets. The symbols of the cadets' school involvement are placed on an arrowhead denoting the cadets' value of protection to family, community, and country.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 3 January 1996.
