Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a green disc edged with a 1/8 (.32 cm) yellow border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm), a "T" square horizontally over which is a wrench and hammer in saltire surmounted by a gear, overall a pair of dividers with a protractor in base between its points, all yellow and all within a 1/16 (.16 cm) yellow fimbriation; around the center a green band divided by a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) yellow fimbriated into six segments the top two segments inscribed "LA" on the dexter side, "NE" on the sinister side and in base "TE" to dexter and "CH" to sinister in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 19 May 1972.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
On a gold color metal and enamel hexagonal shaped green device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height and 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width divided into four fimbriated segments, a horizontal "T" square. Over which is a wrench and hammer in saltire, surmounted by a pair of dividers with a protractor in base between its points, overall a black cogwheel of fifteen teeth. Attached above the hexagon a green scroll inscribed "LANE" in base metal letters. Attached below the hexagon a green scroll inscribed "TECH" in base metal letters.
Gold and green are the school's colors. The drafting and mechanical tools emphasize the modern age of education.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 29 April 2005.
