Distinctive Unit Insignia

A gold color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02cm) in width overall, consisting of a gold wreath of laurel surmounted by an isosceles triangle one point up consisting of a pattern of light blue and white fusils and bearing a gold boar's head couped, all encircled at top by a red scroll inscribed "ALWAYS QUALITY SERVICE" in gold.

Buff (gold) and scarlet are the colors traditionally associated with Support Organizations. Red is symbolic of courage, vitality, and zeal. Gold signifies high ideals and excellence. The laurel wreath is representative of honor and achievement; the triangle denotes solidity and support. The blue and white fusils and the boar's head are indicative of the Group's area of operation.

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 3 May 1994.
