Significance
Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. The yellow border signifies the perpetual sun and reminds Airmen of the integrity required for every mission. The winged sword symbolizes the lethal rain of steel that Special Tactics Airmen call down from the sky. The five stars signify the operational teams with the center star symbolizing the backbone of the Squadron, combat mission support. The motto, “Victory or Death,” echoes ancient warriors striving on the field of battle to conquer their enemies at any cost.
