Significance

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe signifies the world-wide area of responsibility supported by the Squadron and the global operations that are carried out by contracting professionals. The quill denotes the earthly quality of labor and stability established through contracts. The lines on the contract reflect the result of cooperation and determination between the United States Air Force and the contractors who help make the mission succeed.
