On a disc Azure, a knight in armor Argent (Silver Gray), detailed Sable, plumed Or, coat Gules, garnished of the fourth, detailed of the third, in dexter hand a spear bend sinisterwise of the last, tip of the second, bearing in sinister a shield of the fourth, charged with two lightning bolts in saltire of the third, forming two triangles, the upper inverted, of the fifth, all within a narrow border Black.

Attached above the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed “ALWAYS THERE” in Black letters.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed “502D OPERATIONS SUPPORT SQ” in Black letters.


Significance
Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The knight signifies the strength of the unit and symbolizes their dedication to Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self and excellence in all they do.
