Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The eagle is the symbol of the United States and a predatory bird known for its great strength. The lightning flashes represent the Squadron’s MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper aircraft as well as the speed and deadly accuracy of the unit’s combat capabilities.
