Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a bull couped at the neck Gules, eyed, horned, and langued Argent, detailed Sable, nose ring Brunn, detailed Or, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "577TH EXP PRIME BEEF SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The bull represents the strength of engineers and the force Prime BEEF can bring to any theater at any time to ensure the Air Force mission is successful. The nose ring represents discipline\ and obedience to established engineering standards, doctrine and leadership of the United States Armed Forces.
