Description/Blazon

On a disc per bend sinister Azure and Gules a bend sinister Argent overall in base a human form Or fimbriated Sable below in dexter an opinicus passant of the third and in sinister a globe of the first, land masses of the third, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "WORLDWIDE WING SUPPORT" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "50TH CONTRACTING SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The disc, divided into the colors of the U.S. flag, denotes the patriotism of unit personnel. The opinicus reflects the contracting support provided to the Squadron's parent organization. The globe symbolizes the contracting functions that support the Air Force mission.
