Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a hovering above and in front of a bulls-eye of four pieces issuing from dexter base in perspective Argent and Sable, a dragon with wings displayed Gules, underbelly detailed White, eyed and langued Or, shadowed of the third, incensed Proper (Scarlet and Air Force Yellow). Its tail barbed and striking the target center, while grasping in dexter claw a sword Proper (Silver Gray, hilted Yellow) and in sinister claw a lightning flash Yellow, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "608TH COMBAT PLANS SQ" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "AEROSPACE POWER PLANNED RIGHT" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The unit's emblem depicts a fire-breathing dragon holding a sword and a lightning bolt, poised to strike over a target, and refers to aerospace forces' powerful, swift and precision attacks on enemy targets.
