Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a globe Celeste gridlined Argent, overall a gryphon Brün, detailed Sable, beaked, eyed, and armed Argent, grasping in its talons a book of the fifth, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS SQ" in Yellow letters.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "KNOWLEDGE CHANGES EVERYTHING" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The gryphon symbolizes the protector of treasures (knowledge). The book represents knowledge. The emblem depicts the Squadron's intelligence analysis and production, as well as their affiliation with the parent unit, National Air and Space Intelligence Center.
