Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The helm and sword represent the flying units of the group and denote their training and mission to defend peace. The lightning flash symbolizes the swiftness of the Squadron personnel in performing their duties in support of that mission.
