Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, in base a globe elliptical Vert gridlines of the first surmounted by a torch Or enflamed Proper and overlaid with a dove volant bendwise rising Proper grasping in its beak a slip of olive bendwise sinister of the second, all within a double border, inner circle Argent and outer circle Or.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "314TH SERVICES SQ" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The green globe signifies the capabilities to perform the mission anywhere. The white dove of peace exemplifies the community support and services provided during peacetime. The Air Force yellow torch has historically signified excellence and captures the attributes of strength, vigilance and esprit de corps echoed in the motto, "EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO."
