Description/Blazon

On a disc Sable, an inescutcheon Azure a pile with sides beveled counter beveled of three Or charged with another Argent surmounted in chief by a dragon volant reflexed in bend of the first, eyes and underside, head to tail Gules, all within a narrow border of the third, all within a diminished border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border inscribed "92D SECURITY FORCES SQ" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "DEFENSOR" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The dragon symbolizes the strength, knowledge and experience of the unit. The shield and lightning bolts represent the speed and force that enables the Squadron to perform their mission.
