Description/Blazon

On a disc Or, a lozenge throughout Azure, overall a tooth Proper, charged on the crown with three geese volant fesswise in bend sinister Silver Gray detailed Smoke Gray garnished Black, all within a diminished border of the second.

Attached above the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "11TH DENTAL SQUADRON" in Blue letters.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "PROTECTING THE BITING FORCE" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The diamond represents the Washington, D.C. area. The tooth signifies the oral health of the military community. The geese are a symbol of the parent wing.
