Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe denotes the unit's worldwide effect upon the Air Force mission through the binding agreements written by the unit. The scroll symbolizes those contracts and the unit's involvement to succeed with its customers. The Griffin, a symbol of bold wisdom, reflects the Squadron's support to its parent wing.
