Description/Blazon

On a disc Or, a compass rose Vert, detailed Azure and of the first, charged with a globe of the third and gridlined Yellow overall a delta in fess, point to dexter and emitting an orbit encircling all, Argent, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Green scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "AIRLIFTING AMERICA'S FINEST" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Green scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "743D AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The compass rose, globe and flight symbol indicate the unit's ability to launch aircraft from one location to any destination throughout the world.
