Description/Blazon

On a disc per bendwise sinister Sable and Azure, the back of a dexter fist issuant from sinister base Vert detailed of the first wearing a crown ring on the ring finger Gules detailed Or grasping a wrench bendwise sinister of the like, all within a narrow border of the last.

Attached above the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "WE MAINTAIN SO OTHERS MAY LIVE" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "723RD AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The background describes the day or night capabilities of the unit. The green fist signifies the helicopter maintenance section of its association with the 41st Rescue Squadron "Jolly Green Giants." The crown ring symbolizes the aircraft maintenance section and its association with the 71st Rescue Squadron "Combat Kings." The wrench is a symbol of maintenance and depicts the Squadron's mission.
