Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a falcon volant Argent (Silver Gray) detailed and clawed White and Sable, eyed Or, breaking in its talons an air flight symbol Gules fimbriated of the fourth, contrailing of the sixth to a demi-globe in base Black and terminating to dexter landmasses of the third, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "SI VOLET MORIATUR" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "696TH ARMAMENT SYSTEMS SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The falcon symbolizes the predatory hunter capable of air-to-air engagements. The air flight symbol represents all global threats. The globe signifies the world wide reach of United States and Allied Combat Forces.
