Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a terrestrial globe abased Proper, environed by three arched lightning flashes radiating in pall from behind the globe and converging at center Or, overall a compass expanded Argent, detailed Sable, all within a narrow border Black.

Attached above the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "ON THE ROAD AGAIN" in Black letters.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "690TH ALIS" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe indicates the unit's worldwide support. The lightning flashes denote the Squadron's vast connectivity and operability to provide and support facilities around the world. The compass symbolizes the unit's engineering mission.
