Description/Blazon

On a disc Sable, a globe Azure land masses Vert entoured bendwise sinister by a contrail Yellow arcing to a mullet Argent pierced Gules in sinister fess all below tiger's eyes chevronwise reversed Proper and all within a diminished border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "614TH SPACE OPS SQ" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "DETECT DETER DEFY" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The tiger eyes symbolize the mission of the Squadron for assessing the status of the 14th Air Force Space Forces. The globe represents the unit's worldwide mission. The star signifies the unit's tie to the 14th Space Forces as well as to the Army Air Corps. The contrail encircling the globe denotes the command and control of operating weapon systems in space.
